SEMARANG – PT Bank Pembanguan Daerah Jawa Tengah (Bank Jateng) will distribute a dividend of 748.09 Billion rupiahs to Regional Governments in Central Java as a Shareholder. This amount increased of 705.14 billion rupiahs compared to the previous year.
Director of Bank Jateng, Supriyatno said, throughout 2019, Bank Jateng was able to record a net profit of 1.05 trillion rupiahs. Of 71% this amount is used for dividend payments and the 29% remaining is used for reserves.
“The increase in Bank Jateng dividends is an appreciation of Bank Jateng for their trust and good support to the Shareholders so far.
A good synergy between Bank Jateng and the Regional Government, including the Local Government Cash Management System (CMS), will further enhance the Company’s performance and contribution, “he said after the GMS Annual at Puri Gedeh Semarang, Friday (8/5).
Supriyatno explained, in connection with the GMS this time, it was conducted through a media conference as implementing health protocols form in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic.
At the GMS attended by all Shareholders consisting of 36 Regional Governments throughout Central Java, approved the Annual of the Directors and Commissioners’ Board supervisory report, including ratifying the financial statements for the 2019 fiscal year.
Furthermore the GMS also approved the release of full responsibility to the Directors and Commissioners’ Board for the management and supervision of Bank Jateng during the 2019 financial year.
In addition, the GMS also approved the public accountant appointment to conduct an audit of the Company’s financial statements for 2020 fiscal year.
He said, in the Covid-19 pandemic midst , Bank Jateng was able to record good performance. Until the end of April 2020, the total assets reached 72.75 trillion rupiahs, increasing of 71.86 trillion rupiahs from the end of 2019.
The increase in assets was supported by 57.73 trillion rupiahs reached collection of Third Party Funds (DPK) and lended up to 48.93 trillion rupiahs. Over the past four months the operating income reached 513 billion rupiahs, growing 35.71% from the same period last year.
With the Covid-19 outbreak, Bank Jateng has also restructured credit for affected debitors of the pandemic. As 30 April 2020 data shows, there were 6,197 customers undergoing restructuring worth of 2.99 trillion rupiahs. Bank Jateng carries out customer loan restructuring in accordance with the provisions stipulated by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
