Completing the facilities at Taman Indonesia Kaya (TIK) at Minister Soepeno’s Park, Monday (12/11) Mayor of Semarang, Hendrar Prihadi inaugurated 67 renovated street vendors shelter.
This time Bank Jateng became the party that participated in of the shelter construction located on Jalan Pandanaran II, as previously submitted by the Director of Corporate and Commercial Business, Pujiono.
To Bank Jateng, Hendi, the nickname of the Mayor of Semarang, expressed his appreciation for the participation made in the acceleration of development in Semarang city. He hopes that the collaboration that has been well established so far can continue to develop Semarang city to be even more intense.
It is also hoped that the street vendors shelter around Taman Indonesia Kaya can become a culinary destination for tourists in the city of Semarang, as before, the Taman Indonesia Kaya, formerly known as KB Park, is synonymous with roasted corn culinary and Tahu Gimbal Semarang.
Sri Purwanto, one of the traders and chairman of PKL Tahu Gimbal, thanked the City Government and Bank Jateng for facilitating traders to sell. Sri and other merchant colleagues expressed readiness to sell in an orderly, clean, neat and comfortable manner.
