PEKALONGAN – Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) is an epidemic of a dangerous disease with a very fast transmission . Its evidenced by the positive increasing number of patients in Indonesia.
According to the data of Indonesian Ministry of Health as of April 15, 2020 the number of positive patients in Indonesia reached 5,136, 446 patients recovered, and 469 died.
So far, in Pekalongan there have been 2 positive patients plus out of town postive patients who were treated at the Kraton Regional Hospital in Pekalongan Regency. Kraton Regional Hospital of Pekalongan Regency is a referral hospital of (Covid-19) from various regions such as Batang, Pekalongan, Pemalang and surrounding areas.
Therefore, Pekalongan Government is trying its best to break the corona virus transmission, one of its by limiting the night-hours in Pekalongan. Starting at 9:00 to 4:00 PM residents are not allowed to leave the house for the mutual security.
Seeing this situation and in accordance with the direction of the Director, Bank Jateng of Pekalongan Branch participated in preventing the transmission of coronavirus (Covid-19) by providing 100 pieces of PPE aid to Kraton Regional Hospital of Pekalongan Regency which was directly given by the Head of Bank Jateng of Pekalongan Branch, Indra Jaya Harun Al Rasjid to the Director of Kraton Regional Hospital, Pekalongan Regency, Eko Wigianto at the Kraton Regional Hospital, Pekalongan Regency, (16/04).
Kraton Hospital Director, Eko Wigianto said thanks to Bank Jateng of Pekalongan for the assistance of PPE providing . Bank Jateng of Pekalongan Branch Manager, Indra Jaya advised to always be careful, especially the officers or health workers and always follow the existing SOP in order to prevent the transmission of Covid-19.
“For health workers in Kraton Regional Hospital of Pekalongan Regency, it is expected to always be careful in treating the Covid-19 patients, hopefully they will always be given health and strength in facing this corona virus outbreak,” said the Head of Bank Jateng Pekalongan Indra Jaya Harun Al Rasjid.
