SUKOHARJO – Sukoharjo Regency has an official agenda every 6 months, namely the distribution of mourning money to the underprivileged of Sukoharjo community whose family members have passed away.
This compensation has been running for about 9 years. The Sukoharjo regency government has claimed that the compensation for the mourning money is the largest compensation which each receiving of 3 million Rupiahs.
The second phase of the funeral money compensation distribution can only be carried out at the beginning of November, to be precised on November 17-19, 2020.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the distribution of mourning money which was previously centralized in the Sukoharjo Regency Government Hall, became in each of the village. The aim is to reduce the generality resulting from the funeral money distribution.
The Marketing and Service Officer of Bank Jateng, Sukoharjo Branch, directly distributed the funeral money to the community in Sukoharjo Regency for 3 days traveling from one village to other village. Bank Jateng officers were accompanied by the Sukoharjo Regency Social Service and the Village Head for the funeral money smooth distribution .
Sukimin as the Head of the Social Welfare of Social Service, Sukoharjo Regency, said the distribution of mourning money was a routine activity of the Sukoharjo Regency Government under supervised of Bp. H. Wardoyo Wijaya, S.H., M.H., M.M.
“Many thanks to Bank Jateng which is always ready to make the Sukoharjo regency’s event success, amidst limited personnel still provides the best service for Sukoharjo”, he said.
“The total received community is 1,457 people with a total of IDR 4,371,000,000, -“, added Sukimin.
In addition, Sukimin also appealed to the public to always implement health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Head of Bank Jateng, Sukoharjo Branch, Agus Hastono conveyed Bank Jateng ‘s readiness to distribute funeral money, starting from the availability of money to the direct public distribution. “It has become our commitment to provide the best service for the Sukoharjo Regency Government,” he said.
Agus also said, “If there is a shortage of money in the envelope, please convey it to the officer on the spot, we will exchange it since there is no discount at all.” The distribution of this funeral money went smoothly.
This activity still takes the officer’s health protocols procedures use complete protection, spaced receiving chairs, measuring the body temperature before participating in to the activity.
